HM The Queen Services and Bell Ringing

• On Sunday 18th September at 9.30am, St Peter’s, Brackley is hosting the Brackley Civic Service in memory of our late Queen Elizabeth. This service is in conjunction with the Brackley Town Mayor and Brackley Town Council to provide the community with an opportunity to express their gratitude and sorrow, and to pray for the Royal Family and the whole nation. All are welcome.

• Please note a change in the service scheduled for 10.30 at Evenley on Sunday 18th September. Harvest Festival is postponed and, apart from the Benefice Communion (which is going ahead), there will be a Special Commemoration Service marking the passing of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

• One hour (10.00am), before the state funeral on Monday 19th September, church bells will be tolled for one hour. The churches involved will be dependent on the availability of bell ringers. Further information will follow as soon as confirmed.
