Ash Wednesday

7.00pm Evenley Benefice Holy Communion

Come and mark the beginning of Lent in this quiet communion service of prayer and reflection. There is an opportunity for the imposition of Ashes on your forehead as a symbol of our repentance. The ashes made from burnt palm crosses are administered with the words. From dust you come and to dust you will return, repent of your sins, and turn to Christ. Amen

Please pray for:-

- All those known to us who need our prayers this week

- For all those affected by the earthquake in Turkey & Syria, especially the families of the dead, missing or injured – not forgetting the rescue services.

- For couples preparing to be married this summer.

- For all those struggling with health issues.

- For those awaiting surgery

- For all people worldwide who are affected by unrest, by acts of violence, oppression, or poverty.

Our churches are always open for private prayer; all are welcome. - (Croughton -by appointment only)
