Almighty God, you have broken the tyranny of sin and have sent the Spirit of your Son into our hearts whereby we call you Father: give us grace to dedicate our freedom to your service, that we and all creation may be brought to the glorious liberty of the children of God; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. We give thanks for our Benefice Holy Communion service last Sunday at Hinton. It was led by Archdeacon Richard Ormston. The sun shone and the calming, peaceful weather reflected the atmosphere inside the Most Holy Trinity Church. We thank Archdeacon Richard for visiting us and delivering a most uplifting service for us all.

Following the service, a presentation was made to honour the many years of service provided to our Benefice by the Revd. Hugh Warwick, who is now retired. A gift of a book was given to Hugh and a beautiful flower arrangement to his wife and great supporter, Auriel. Thanks, were also offered to Theo & the team for providing most welcome refreshments following the service.
