2nd Evensong at Steane

The second of our Evensong services took place last night (21st May. The service was led by the Revd. Celia Parks who delivered an amazing sermon highlighting that we are all in God’s flock of sheep and we do his bidding.

The weather was kind to us, and the atmosphere was so calming it made for an extremely loving service.

We thank Revd. Celia and the officials who had worked to present the service and the refreshments which followed.

Our next Evensong at Steane is Sunday 25th June at 6pm.

And finally

Words from St Francis of Assisi

Praised be You, my Lord, with all Your creatures, especially Sir Brother Sun, who is the day through whom You give us light. And he is beautiful and radiant with great splendour; of You, Most High, he bears the likeness.
