STOP PRESS –

This Friday 30th September 10.00-12.00 at Hinton in the Hedges Crewe Arms – MacMillan Coffee Morning -

Mark and Zoe have very kindly offered to host a coffee morning to raise funds for a wonderful cause, Macmillan Cancer Support. So many of us know family members, friends or work colleagues who have been affected by cancer, so this is a great opportunity to come along to our lovely local and catch up with fellow villagers and friends for some delicious cakes, a breakfast bap, a cup of tea or coffee, and donate to a very worthy charity. Come along and enjoy some lovely treats. Thank you all in advance for your support.

BANBURY FOOD BANK

Please be aware that Banbury Food bank is low on provisions as the current cost of living crisis has seen an increase in demand for their services, and a decrease in their usual donations. they rely on donations from the public to provide vital help to those in the community in need…During this time of Harvest Festivals, if you are able to, please consider adding one item to your food shop, and donating it to the foodbank- suggestions as follows: -

TINNED FRUIT

LONG LIFE MILK

TINNED SOUP

RICE PUDDING

JARS OF PASTA SAUCE

And Finally

We see signs of summer's passing in golden leaves, shortening days, misty mornings, autumn glow. We sense it passing in rain that dampens, winds that chill, Harvest's bounty placed on show. Creator God, who brings forth both green shoot and hoar frost, sunrise and sunset, we bring our thanks for seeds that have grown, harvests gathered, storehouses filled, mouths fed. And, as your good earth rests through winter's cold embrace, we look forward to its re-awakening when kissed by Spring's first touch.

For summer's passing and harvest home

WE THANK YOU
